A disappointing visit last Sunday left our family celebration feeling very flat. Waiting a full hour from ordering for the main courses to arrive was unacceptable, especially with children in the party. The quality of the food varied, but some was badly over cooked. Overall, the value for money did not match that offered by other family restaurants. Lame excuses about staff shortages (which should be the restaurant's problem, not the customer's) only made matters worse.
Understaffed, tables left unturned for hours, however, good food and lovely setting. Would love to post higher but surrounded by dirty dishes let them down on thus occasion. Overall a great place to visit.
Nice surroundings and decent enough pub food (not as good as it thinks it is) but expensive for the quality. Drinks very expensive - virtually the prices I'd pay in London!

Excellent vegan option. I was happy to be presented with a separate vegan menu. The vegan food was delicious, , good portion size. Negative that maybe due to short of staff several table wasnt cleared up, also the plants were all dried out. Overall satisfied as food and staff are nice!
