Not good lads!!! No bloody trains
Single ticket machine is often out of service, so don't rely on being able to buy a ticket before boarding your train. Also for any travelling with mobility issues access to the south (London) bound platform is only by 30 steps down from the road.
A single ticket machine is available here on the top of the bridge leading down to Platform 2, which is very annoying since the ticket office is only open on Monday - Friday mornings. It also didn't provide me with the best ticket possible using GTR's Smart Card. Very poor indeed. Other than that? Sub par station with somewhat frequent services, step free access for trains towards Welwyn Garden City and a car park.
One of the best little stations in the country with very helpful staff that are a good example of excellent customer service.
Another nice quiet station but not recommended unless you are only going a few stops or you're not in a hurry.
