A wonderfully preserved Jacobean manor. It also boast a remarkable art collection with several royal portraits like Queen Elizabeth I rainbow portrait. I loved the idea of paintings hanging on top of tapestries. You'll recognise some interiors as Malborough House as seen in The Crown. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and it's very easy to reach it by train as Hadfield's train station is just across the road.
Great place to walk the dog with or without the family. Lovely shops and a superb riverside cottage restaurant. A bit expensive but nice all the same.
Reporting on the pleasant stable yard with individual and interesting shops. The coffee shop has gone over to trendy but uncomfortable metal chairs. The coffee has gone up too. From a business point of view, making the coffee shop an attractive venue benefits all the other businesses. The wasps were a severe trial.
Just a beautiful place lots to explore and there is a children's farm here too. We are a local Dj and event company and are the preferred supplier for corporate and Christmas events. Bluemark Entertainment are wedding specialists and have lots of solutions for The Old Palace and The Riding School
Was here for the Slam Dunk Festival. First time they'd hosted it in the park, and do feel that it lost some of the intensity that they had in the smaller rooms at the University.As a park, its gorgeous and huge. Smack bang opposite the train station, would be lovely during the summer. There's not a convenience store nearby to grab easy beers (not that I found before or after) so be sure to bring alcohol and refreshments with you.
