Chris is a deserved 5 star painter. I paid him to come around and paint my room in May and he did so and it all looked fine. But when I looked at it all freshly painted I realised that the plasterwork really needed replacing (on top of that I had to get the roof repairs repaired - that isn't a typo). So after the roof repair and the plastering was done I then had to call Chris back and get him to paint over the new plaster and make it match up with his earlier painting.He had told me at the time of the initial painting that trying to match the paint already on the wall even if you've kept the exact paint you used on the wall is never perfect because the paint on the wall and the paint in the can chemically age differently.So he came round in November and painted up the newly plastered bits of the wall and I'm very impressed.I really have to look at the wall to see the difference between the old new paint and the new new paint. To be honest it's so slight a difference it could just be in my head.Chris is a guaranteed 5 star painter.
