ANY STUDENTS TRYING TO PICK UP CONTRACEPTIVES - RUN.*rude receptionist who laughed at me crying out of frustration*They refused to give me my usual prescription that Ive had for 3 years with no issues unless I came in for a check up. Couldnt tag it on the end of a doctors appointment, it HAD to be a separate 10 mins with a nurse.They will make you do that EVERYTIME you want to pick it up - so any time a pack runs out, youve got to make the time to go into the doctor.She then very bluntly told me that I couldnt even book the appointment she was offering because there was none left and told me to call back tomorrow - theres no option to book a future appointment at the surgery at all.Basically, rude receptionist, wont give you repeat prescriptions, and wont give you any appointments except same day, requiring a call at 8:30am.
The receptionists ruin this place 100%. I have never been in a drs surgery where the receptionists think they are medical surgeons and wants to know everything over the phone before booking appointments. Makes you feel extremely uncomfortable. When you call up your asked if its an emergency, if not you have to call another day yet you get the same answer another day. You are refused to book for another day and told to call in the mornings. This place can be run a lot better.

Because of a speech issue i have I went in with a flu once and the doctor was convinced i had meningitis so i was stuck in the back of an ambulance and forced to go to the hospital where i was kept in isolation until midnight without anyone telling me that i was in isolation or anything I was just stuck there I had to do a brain scan and it turned out i didnt have meningitis i just had a really bad flu, so by this point i had been shoved around in an ambulance had a big needle stuck in my arm put in a scanner until midnight and then shoved back out to make my own way home which made the flu way worse
I do not like the staff one bit! they make just want to stay in bed and stay unwell. always rude over the phone and always asking me questions i'd rather speak to a doctor about and then refuse me an appointment because they don't want me to,in her words 'spread my germs to others in the waiting room.' Im sick of this subpar medical centre we have in this uni.
